ℹ️ APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
The application surface must be clean, degreased, and smooth. Avoid applying after a water-repellent treatment. Recommended application temperature is +18°C (+64°F) or above.
For winter application, the adhesive hardens if the bodywork or glass is freezing cold; heat the surface (glass or bodywork) with a hairdryer.
Rub firmly over the transparent transfer tape with a squeegee or a microfiber cloth before removing it.
To apply stickers on a treated car (PPF, ceramic coating, or wax), the method depends on the desired finish level:
Standard method (thorough degreasing): Wipe the exact application area with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) concentrated at 70-90% or a panel wipe. This temporarily breaks down the hydrophobic top coat or removes the wax so the adhesive can grip.
Permanent method (local polishing): If the ceramic coating is very fresh and hard, light polishing with a finishing compound is required to strip the ceramic layer on that spot. Then degrease with IPA before applying the sticker.
Ultra-hydrophobic PPF: On high-end self-healing PPF, IPA alone may not be enough. Use a vinyl Adhesion Promoter (such as 3M Primer 94), applying it with a brush only where the adhesive will sit.
Once the sticker is applied, a ceramic coating or wax can be reapplied around and over the sticker to uniform the protection.
For optimal durability: It is possible to apply a clear coat over the sticker after light sanding (de-glossing).
Pressure washing: Avoid spraying closer than 30 cm (12 inches). Do not use rotary nozzle lances or ultra-high pressure on small isolated elements if the sticker is unvarnished. The best method is hand washing with a soft brush and car shampoo, as in detailing, then rinsing with clean water.
